Terms of Use

Last updated: 14 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and the Savorena team ("we") for using the Savorena app. By creating an account you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines.

Who can use Savorena

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission.

Your account

• Give accurate information, and keep your password to yourself.
• One person per account. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
• You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

What you post

• You own your content. Your photos, recipes, captions and comments stay yours.
• You let us show it. By posting, you give Savorena permission to store, display, resize and share your content inside the app and to feature it when we promote Savorena. This permission is worldwide, free of charge and not exclusive, and it ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from copies in routine backups.
• Post only what is yours. Share photos you took and recipes you made or have the right to share. When you adapt someone's recipe, credit them.

Community rules

Follow the Community Guidelines in the app. In particular, do not post or do any of the following:

• Harassment, hate, threats or personal attacks.
• Sexual, violent or illegal content.
• Spam, scams or misleading claims.
• Dangerous food advice, or recipes that hide allergens or use unsafe methods.
• Pretending to be someone else.
• Cheating in battles, including fake accounts, vote trading and vote rings.

Battles

• Entering a battle is free, and no purchase is needed.
• Each battle states its theme, dates, rules and any prize. Prizes, when offered, are provided by Savorena or a named sponsor.
• Apple is not a sponsor of any battle and is not involved in it in any way.
• To receive a prize, a winner may need to confirm their identity and age and give details for the payment. Prizes are paid as the battle's rules state, less any tax the law requires us to withhold.
• Votes are limited each day, and you cannot vote for your own dish.
• Judges and moderators review results before winners are announced, and their decisions are final.
• We may remove votes, disqualify entries or cancel a battle when the rules are broken or something goes wrong.

Food safety

Recipes and guide entries are shared for general information. We do not test every recipe. Cook at your own risk: check ingredients for allergens, handle raw meat, fish and eggs safely, and take care with hot oil and knives.

Moderation

• You can report any dish, comment or account, and block or mute anyone.
• We review reports as quickly as we can, usually within 24 hours.
• We may remove content, or suspend or close accounts, that break these terms or the Community Guidelines.

Our content

The Savorena app, its design, the Cuisine Guide and the Sav character belong to us. Do not copy them, collect content from the app in bulk, or use our name or logo without permission.

Ending these terms

You can stop using Savorena and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Disclaimers and liability

Savorena is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and accurate, but we do not promise that it will always be free of errors or interruptions. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for content that other users post.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top and, if the change is significant, tell you in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
